If you have sailing experience but you would like to have others around, you are at the right place with the Sunny Sailing Flotilla. You will be sailing on your own but you can always fall back on the lead yacht for assistance and the flotilla hostess to help organise your evenings - This is Flotilla Sailing!

Yachtsun offer this as our premier flotilla in partnership with the Dutch company 'Sunny Sailing', it is one of the most professionally organised and run flotillas in the Ionian.

In the areas where you will be sailing there are plenty of possibilities for swimming, snorkeling, relaxing and sunbathing. In the morning the flotilla lead crew will plan the day's route with you. After that, you are free to do whatever you wish. You can stay ashore and explore the village, or sail away. Because of the short distances there is the possibility to make stops during the sail to your next destination. You can go to a bay and take a dive or, you can make a stop for lunch at a village taverna. In the afternoon or early evening you will arrive at your destination after a wonderful day of sailing. There you can decide yourself where you are going to have dinner.

The flotilla starts from Lefkas Marina on Lefkas Island,  www.lefkada.gr/   included in the Sailing Area are the islands of Meganisi,   www.meganisi.gr/EN/   Kalamos, Kastos and the larger islands of Kefalonia and Ithaca (all approximately within a two to three hour cruise).

The Sunny Sailing flotilla is one of the newer flotillas to the Ionian, but have quickly gained a reputation for their high standards and professional service. Although Dutch operated, it has a wide European appeal, providing charters to many nationalities, with Dutch, English and German being the main spoken languages. The flotilla therefore also offers the opportunity to mix with other nationalities and lively flotilla evenings.

Flotilla Routes

There are one, two and four week flotillas.

As well as the Standard Lefkas Flotilla (one or two weeks) there are the more challenging Zakynthos Flotilla (two weeks) and Corfu Flotilla (two weeks).

The Annual Sunny Sailing Peloponnese Flotilla

Every May there is the opportunity to join the Sunny Sailing Peloponnese Flotilla. You may join the flotilla for two weeks or four weeks for the whole cruise. The flotilla starts at Lefkas Marina, then via the west coast of the Peloponnese sails south. Visiting Lefkas, Kefalonia and the south side of the Peloponnese's to Elafonisos. Then via the south side of the Peloponnese and the islands of Argolic and Saronic Gulf reaching Athens in two weeks. Then via the Corinth canal, Gulf of Corinth, the bridge Patras back to Lefkas.
