Flotilla Starts from Lefkas Marina - Sunny Sailing Yacht Base                   www.lefkada.gr/
This new marina is within easy walking distance to Lefkas town, the largest town on Lefkas Island with a good selection of shops and eating places. The marina is well equipped with mooring lines, showers, bars, supermarket, water and electricity.

Even Weeks

Sunday Abelike Bay - Meganisi (13 miles)                                    www.meganisi.gr/EN/
On your first day you can visit Skorpios, the island of Onassis, on your way to Abelike Bay on Meganisi Island, where you will anchor for the night. In the evening you may eat at a small local taverna. There is no quay at Abelike so you will have to go by dinghy while you enjoy the stars at night!
Monday Fiskardo (Kefalonia) (18 miles)
We set sail for Fiskardo, the place to be in the Ionian! A firm trip to sail with the ferries in your sight. Your Passerelle is almost on the tables of the people at the tavernas. Watch out throwing your lines, you may hit a Greek salad dish or the cold beer on the tables!
Tuesday Eufernia (Kefalonia) (11 miles)
The film Captain Correli's Mandolin was recorded here. It has good tavernas, supermarket, a nice beach, with a really nice view from off the breakwater. If you are getting low on cash there is an ATM machine.
Wednesday Kastos (Kastos) (28 miles)
One of the quietest places of the Ionian - cockerels, donkeys but no shop and your garbage you must keep on your yacht. There is a beautiful taverna with a view of the Dragonera Islands, close to the mainland. Nice place to snorkel, at least to have a look whether your anchor is holding (or not?).
Thursday Atheni Bay - Meganisi (15 miles)
A bay on the north east corner of Meganisi Island. A drink on the quay with the other crews, afterwards dinner at Dimitri and Spiros taverna. As soon as they have finished serving they may surprise us with the charming Greek Zirtakis.
Friday Lefkas Marina (13.5 miles) or Free Sailing
It is goodbye to those who are staying for another week if you are returning home on the Saturday. The flotilla leaders will join the people who are returning to Lefkas marina. The guests who are going home on Sunday have another day's free sailing and those having another week have two day's free sailing. They will meet the flotilla leaders and the new guests again on the Sunday evening at Vathi on Meganisi Island.
Saturday
Guests finishing their holiday on Sunday return to Lefkas Marina before 17:00 hrs, ready to disembark on the Sunday morning at 9:00 hrs.

Uneven Weeks

Sunday Vathi - Meganisi (12 miles)                                               www.meganisi.gr/EN/
Vathi is a charming Greek village, with some beautiful trees and real Greek fishing boats moored in the harbour. Often called 'Little Vathi' to distinguish it from the larger Vathi on Ithaca, it has a romantic atmosphere when the wind is not blowing directly from the north!
Monday Porto Leone (Kalamos) (19 miles)
A beautiful bay, a possibility for a barbecue, a nice taverna, however no shops - but a starry night of course!
Tuesday Vathi (Ithaka) (17 miles)
The main city of Ithaka, the birth place of Odyssees.
A real Greek place: the shops will open at 18:00 hrs. Nice tavernas near the water side.
Wednesday Sivota (Lefkas) (16 miles)
This cosy and safe harbour, where you feel conifdent with different kind of winds. Lots of space. A beach on the other side where you can swim.
